Secret Santa is a private gift-exchange app for families, operated by Genri Labs LLC.
Privacy Policy
Data We Collect
We collect your display name, username, the password you choose (stored only as a one-way hash), and, if your clan administrator adds them, your email address and mobile phone number. We also store what you add to the app: your profile, wish list, event sign-ups and messages to your Secret Santa or giftee.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information only to run Secret Santa for your family: to let you sign in, to show your clan the event details and wish lists you choose to share, to send you in-app notifications, and to keep accounts secure. We do not sell your information.
Text Messages (SMS)
If your account has a mobile phone number, you can choose to sign in with a one-time code instead of your password. The only text message we send is that one-time sign-in code, and only after you ask for it by tapping “Text Me a Sign-In Code” on the sign-in page. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
Your phone number is added to your account by your clan administrator. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them (you can still sign in with your password), or reply HELP for help.
Sharing Your Information
We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or SMS consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messages are delivered through our messaging provider, Twilio, which receives your phone number and the code only in order to deliver that message.
Keeping and Deleting Your Data
We keep your information while your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time using the contact details below, or ask your clan administrator to remove you from the clan.
